Falconry Lessons
Beginning Falconry Lesson
Come fly a hawk! Participate in handling and flying our trained birds of prey. This is a fun introduction to the sport of falconry. Course includes teachings on human/bird relationship, the predator/prey relationship, adaptations, natural history and falconry techniques. 60 minutes, Ages 7 and up.
Price: $70 Adults Youth Age 7-10 $60.
Hawk Walk
After a short bird handling lesson, we head out into the field with the hawk flying freely above us. Super fun to have a hawk fly to and from you as we meander through the tree’s. For a complete experience, combine it with the Basic Falconry Lesson!
Price: $130. Hawk Walk + Basic Falconry Lesson 90 minutes: $200.
Raptor Camp: Come play with birds of prey!
Spend the day at our Center and be immersed in birds of prey. Participants will have hands on experiences including feeding and weighing birds, charts, equipment making, bird training, handling & flying. Discussions on falconry, the human/bird relationship, raptor conservation, adaptations, and natural history are included. CRWN holds a US Fish and Wildlife Service Special Purpose: Falconry school education permit that allows participants to handle birds.
Price: $250 Ages 12 and up Simple lunch included. Minimum of 3 people needed. Family discounts available.
Raptors, Art & Nature
We begin with nature awareness: opening and tuning your senses in nature. With awakened senses, teachings on raptors begins, including practice on building a trust bond with them. From this expanded place, participants are offered the unique experience of sitting with various hawks, owls and falcons. Unleash your creativity as you draw, paint or write poetry. 3-4 hours Bring your own supplies. (We are not art teachers)
Ages 18 & up, Price: $100.00 Add in handling a hawk,owl or falcon: $50.00

Raptors, Photography & Nature

From this expanded place, participants are offered the unique experience of photographing various hawks, owls and falcons while perched in different settings. Possibilities for flight photo’s as well depending on time of year and weather. 3-4 hours Intended for amateur photographers. Professionals call first.
CRWN possesses special use permits by the US Fish and Wildlife Service and CA Department of Fish and Wildlife for all raptor activities.
